Fish Cove in Nortd Syracuse

If you are going on a Friday make sure to pack your patience. They move people through quickly but there are a lot of people. The haddock is huge and perfect. The fries are done and crispy. A perfect Fish Fry!

Fish sandwiches were great as well as deep fried zucchini.

Great place for a fish sandwich. They have many other seafood options. I like their homemade mozzarella sticks.

The fish and seafood was phenomenal! We went on a Friday during Lent, and the employees are extremely efficient at processing the lines of people. The town also gets involved and there is a police officer directing traffic.

Went on a Friday and ordered 6 pieces of skinless fish. Mike in the back complained the entire time and made sure I heard every word. I had to be the bigger person, as I had my 5 year old impressionable cousin with me. Made me feel like crap because other customers heard everything as well. I spent well over $70 that evening and most times I go. Horrible customer service.

Nice variety. Clean oil. Friendly, hard working crew. Typical pricing. A little too much breading on the fish for my taste. A small matter, others may enjoy it.

This was my first time going to the Fish Cove .The fish was very tasty and the tartar sauce on the fish was excellent. I was a bit confused how to order .First you order the fish ,then you go to a different place to order side ,one side fir onion rings another side for fries but the staff knew exactly what they were doing .I guess you have to get use to the way you order..The fish was excellent and that's what counts in a fish store

My first experience with The Fish Cove. I'm from Rochester and am in town taking care of my mother. She said she liked this place. The fish is lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The fish was very good, full of flavor. Onion rings were great. The coleslaw was amazing! I would definitely recommend and go there again.

Owner is there 90% of the time and is always nice. I come here whenever I am in the area and never had anything I didn't like or would complain about! The fish is always cooked perfectly!

The Fish Cove is pretty good, very clean. But it's not the best around. Atlantic seafood in Baldwinsville and Bayberry seafood in Liverpool and Doug's fish fry in Skaneateles and there's one at the end of ponderosa plaza in Liverpool, I can't remember the name. All these places give a way way bigger fish sandwich for the money, trust me been to them all. And the Fish Cove needs to serve in the order people come in, not pick and choose because they know them and maybe a regular. 3 star's from me get bigger fish.

They do a good job. The staff is always great when I come here. In my opinion they do not have the best fried fish sandwich in town. If you like a more crunchy and flaky haddock sandwich you're not going to get it here. Their sandwiches are fairly soft and mushy and I do not particularly care for the flavoring of the breading. The other things on the menu have been really good though. I would recommend it for other seafood.

Good seafood at reasonable prices. Summertime they have picnic tables to eat at.

Told me to wait outside while customers were coming out. Made me feel I was not welcome. Overall find food where you live and feel appreciated. (In cicero, not this junk)Also never any healthy choices that do not include soy oil and fried greasy fish. Would love it if this place could have better choices, like organic food or grilled fish, or at least used ORGANIC oil instead of regular oil!

Staff are consistently genuine in their attitudes .. good attitudes, helpful and cheery .. they work hard!

Absolutely love Everything about all of their food, Plus when you go into an establishment and all of the employees have been there for a really long time shows that the owner is doing everything correctly, so why not help and be part of something great. I recommend that you give other items on the menu a chance. I'm putting up some pictures , yes that's me on my way to work with a lot of love on the seat next to me.

Do not let the long lines deter you from going inside! They are very fast and efficient. Pay attention to the signs above each "station". The cooks will yell out across the room for sides and fries and don't be shy to walk up and grab your food, when instructed. It is VERY busy on Fridays, so pay attention! It makes the whole process faster! The haddock was excellent, perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The French fries were good also, perfectly golden brown with a hint of crunch. The coleslaw was a little sweet, but that is my preference. The potato salad was so tasty, it brought be back to summer! The homemade cocktail sauce was the perfect amount of nostril burning horseradish and sweet ketchup. The mac n cheese was decent, definitely not my favorite side. Overall, I will endure the crowd for more!

Long lines, but don't let that deter you. Very fast service, excellent food. Calm lines, people waiting patiently. Yum Yum.

You usually have to wait quite a while in line, but it's worth it! The have the greatest coleslaw, baked sea scallops delish. Food is excellent

Freshly made fried seafood. I ordered the large scallops and they were cooked to perfection - large, sweet and delicious! The fish fry was also cooked perfectly and was very delicious. The breading is light and doesn't take away from the taste of the haddock. Be ready to wait a few minutes on busy Friday nights. It's worth the wait!

This no frills fish market offers freshly fried fish and seafood as well as a variety of homemade sides. Don't be intimidated by the long lines, especially on Fridays. You'll be in and out in no time and you'll be so glad you went.My only suggestion would be to offer reusable insulated grocery bags for sale to help customers keep their food hot and fresh until it arrives safety to their destination as well as to promote the improvement of the environment.The service is great and the people are genuine and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and not just because I am a local Syracusan 😃

Throwback quality and service. If you have missed the highest quality seafood provided with the best kind of service, then Fish Cove is a guaranteed pleaser. The more you go, the more you learn the selection, cooking option and freshness that can only be found there.Like a high end exclusive club... That lacks in pretentious or snooty service. Instead, it feels like a cool family of cousins that you cant get enough of. And the cherry on top... Honest pricing!

Great staff and great food. Best fish sandwiches in the area, along with the best calamari I've ever had.

I want to give a huge shout out to the current staff! Summer 2019! My lady and I have been coming since the spring of 2019 and we absolutely love coming to Fish Cove. It has become a once a week date night to share a large piece of haddock and split an order of mozzarella sticks or sweet potato fries. We ask for things made a little extra cooked and they always get it just right for us. Unlike most places around, we have never been let down by these guys in anyway. Will be loyal customer forever, and highly recommend.

Awsome see food! I think I've had fish from every VFW, fire dept, church and fish fry in the syracuse area some come close but none consistently deliver the quality and taste the fish cove does. I WANT TO EAT EVERYTHING I SEE! Mmmmmmm~good. There is almost always a line sometimes out the door. Dress warm, it's worth the wait.

We love the fresh haddock. They partial cook it and we take it to Vermont for dinner!!! It is amazingly delicious!!! They work with each customer to satisfy their desires. Awesome fish store that has been there for decades!

I have been going to the fish cove for over 20 year strat going to it at shop city store then mover to north syracuse and been going there ever Friday love the food and the workers the away have a smile on their face and treat everyone like family

Best seafood. Better than there other locations bayberry and shop city. My favorite are the fried scollops. Staff is always very nice.

Ordered 1 pound of scallops and shrimp and cheddar bites and they didn't cook until I came. I said I ordered in advance because I have bad knees and couldn't wait. I offered to pay in advance by charge and they said they trusted me. I will recommend and am going to start going back to sals in n.syracuse again. At least they do what you want.

Went in there on a Friday. The line was out of the door. I took this as a good sign. I was a little overwhelmed as it gets pretty crazy in there and there’s so many choices. After being helped by Brian I order over $70 worth of food for my large family. His suggestions were spot on, food was great. Fish was cooked perfectly
